This mini pipe has been carved out of a reclaimed manzanita trunk that has was burned in the southern California 2019 Valley Fire and has some original wildfire black char burn marks along the live edge side.
Measures 3 3/4" Long X 2" Wide X 3/4" Thick.
Features a 3/4" bowl set @ 1/2" Deep and has been hand burned to burn off the natural resins for a clean and natural smoke.
The smoke hole is 1/8" for a slow and smooth draw.
Manzanita is a tree that grows all around southern California and is so exotic it is protected by federal law and is illegal to cut it down without proper permission from either land owners or state and federal officials.
Manzanita wood is also a very hard and dense wood so it holds the heat well and is a great wood for crafting long lasting pipes out of it.
Completely hand carved to a free form shape revealing the manzanitas signature unique wood grain striations.
Fits equally comfortable in the palm of your right or left hand grip.
The density of this exotic wood makes each pipe hold the heat very well and shines up like glass!
Most of this pipe is handcarved and along the side highlights the exterior live edge part of the original manzanita tree.
Inlayed into weathered cracks is a bright blue turquoise that's been impeded into some crushed deep green malachite to contrast nice against the red wood grain.
Each and every stone, shard and chunk of turquoise has been mindfully and patiently inlaid one piece at a time.
Each piece finished with an eco friendly penetrating oil hand sanded and sealed permanently into the wood for a long and happy life.
Sits flat when set down.
